Sharing your thoughts and feelings.
Let me share with you how you might be
feeling, and what frustration you might
be experiencing.
Every teen I have ever treated had one
thing in common and that is they are
very intelligent. That is why they can
manipulate and push the hot buttons on
and off to their family or friends to
get what they want. By doing this they
take hostages, the mother, father,
grandparents, brothers and sisters, and
anyone else that they need. But
eventually they start turning them in to
victims. One by one they lie, cheat, and
steal from the ones that love them.
The behavior at this time is referred to
as lying circle, they start lying, half
way through the circle they can't
remember their lies and completing the
circle, they can't remember they have
lied.
You parents must remember there is a
small thin line between love,
discipline, and co-dependence. Caring,
discipline, is very easily confused by
teens.
To help your teen you must first realize
that you are doing this because you love
them and that a new environment, new
settings, new friends, and a new
beginning will entitle them to a new
life and return your teen to be a
productive individual at school, home
and in society.
Over the eight years helping over 400
